Hi Gals,
Just thought you would want an updated pic of Cher (now Olive). She had her second heart worm shot today. The first few hours are extremely rough, but this afternoon she is resting comfortably on Morphine. The last dose is tomorrow. After witnessing what she has to go through, I am a bit of a crusader for heart worm prevention. She is very resilient though! After her first dose, she skipped dinner that night, but was right there for breakfast the next morning.
She and Reilly are great buds. When he hears me open her crate in the morning, he is right there. However, I am also happy to report that within the last few days, she has been seen without Reilly. She is becoming a bit more independent of him.
Anyway, here she is in her Mardi Gras costume! Enjoy!
