Dozer was born on September 13, 2007 to Faith AKA Heidi. Mikhail and Laurie were the first couple to be approved to adopt one our Red Dirt babies. They checked in often and enjoyed their weekly picture updates. They could hardly wait for the day when they finally got to pick which puppy they would add to their family. They ultimately choose Dozer and it was a rough choice as they wanted to take them all! Dozer is now happy in his new forever home with his furbrother Tyson.
Here is an update received from Dozer's new family...
Everything is great, the puppy is settling in nicely with Tyson...our Boston Terrier.
As far as the name, we originally we're going to call him Atlas but decided that next day to stay with Dozer after seeing him plow over everything in sight. I have been walking him on the leash to the dog park near our house for training and socialization. However, his favorite thing to do is wrestle around in the monkey grass in our front yard...I swear Dozer is part Bengal Tiger. Dozer is growing so fast, he is already 15 lbs. He had another round of shots last week and goes back Dec 5th. He has been going on walks a couple of times a day and playing with the lab next door every chance we get. He is a very good boy that sleeps in his crate without crying all night and almost never potty's inside. We are moving to Austin in about 3 weeks and he will have a big back yard. I can't wait because he is going to be really big really fast.
