 Allie aka Cupid is Home.

June, 2008

Allie aka Cupid has a rough ride until rescue came along in January 2008, she is living the good life now with her loving family and has a brand new name to prove it!

Allie is doing wonderful! Zander is having so much fun with her, he loves getting in her kennel and playing. I've enclosed a few more pictures, she's gained quite a bit of weight, and has had a good scrub down and her nails trimmed. We are so happy Allie is a part of our lives!! Kristen

 Its Got To Be Dozer!

October, 2007

Dozer was born on September 13, 2007 to Faith AKA Heidi. Mikhail and Laurie were the first couple to be approved to adopt one our Red Dirt babies. They checked in often and enjoyed their weekly picture updates. They could hardly wait for the day when they finally got to pick which puppy they would add to their family. They ultimately choose Dozer and it was a rough choice as they wanted to take them all! Dozer is now happy in his new forever home with his furbrother Tyson.

Here is an update received from Dozer's new family...

Everything is great, the puppy is settling in nicely with Tyson...our Boston Terrier.

As far as the name, we originally we're going to call him Atlas but decided that next day to stay with Dozer after seeing him plow over everything in sight. I have been walking him on the leash to the dog park near our house for training and socialization. However, his favorite thing to do is wrestle around in the monkey grass in our front yard...I swear Dozer is part Bengal Tiger. Here are pictures of Dozer (9 weeks).

You will also see our neighbor's 10 week old yellow lab (Dozer's best friend) and Tyson (our 6 year old Boston). These are mostly action shots as they are impossible to get still.

Dozer is growing so fast, he is already 15 lbs. He had another round of shots last week and goes back Dec 5th. He has been going on walks a couple of times a day and playing with the lab next door every chance we get. He is a very good boy that sleeps in his crate without crying all night and almost never potty's inside. We are moving to Austin in about 3 weeks and he will have a big back yard. I can't wait because he is going to be really big really fast.

Thank you for our little/big bundle of joy.

Talk to you soon.

Welcome Home Will!

November, 2007

Tundra, now known as Will, came from a small town shelter in Oklahoma. He was such an easy keep for his foster mom. He played well with the other dogs and was just a big lover boy. His new mom fell in love with him the moment they met and he is now settled into his forever home. Will has filled the hole left in his mom's heart after her beloved boxer Douglas passed away. Welcome home Will!

From Will's new parents...

Just wanted you to know that we are settling in just fine. He and Gracie chase each other around the yard and play. She is quick to remind him that this is her house and her mommy, but she did that with Douglas and he was here first. He is just such a great big goof. It was so nice to leave the house yesterday and know that Gracie wasn't alone.

Here are some pictures from just this morning.

We love him already.

Thanks again,

Denise

Two Brothers find Their Forever Home

August, 2007

Austin and Beau came from a litter of 7 boxer mix pups. They are very playful and loving boys. Now these two brothers found their forever home together with Adam and Lindsey. Welcome home Austin and Beau!

Here is an update from their new family,

Austin and Beau are doing great, they're pretty much potty trained but still are crated at night. During the day they spend half the day in the back yard and love it. They have a new dog house and lots of toys. They do some tricks and are still learning but get tons of love and attention. At night they stay out until we go to bed and for the most part fall asleep on the rug.

Here are some pictures of the boys, we have tons.
