Crash (aka Frosty the Snowman)

Crash AKA, “Mr. Frosty the Snowman” is heartworm negative and comes to us via Sand Springs Parks Service. He was abandoned there in a park and they contacted us because they don’t have facilities for him. Frosty comes to mind because of that frosty silver gray look on his muzzle and face as well as the snow event going on when we went to pick him up. This is first impressions, but once you spend some time with him he has quite the warm heart just wanting to snuggle up near you. He is a skinny boy who needs some groceries. He has seemed to have lost his indoor skills if he had them. We’re working to see if we can uncover them and if they’re not there teach them to him. He is a sweet older boy looking for his forever home where there is good food, love and a warm soft bed.

Since having him twenty-four hours, we have learned this boy does have some skills! He has sit on command and does come, though VERY SLOWLY, when called but coming at all with strangers is good. The confused glaze in his eyes has given way to a nice sparkle. He LOVES treats and is treat/food motivated. He displays that he is quite intelligent and willing to please. He is quiet and chilled out boy that would fit into a home with an older couple or a calm quiet home in general.
