This dog was put into someone’s latched back yard. Then they let him go because their dog wasn’t ok with him being in his space. Another lady found him the next day and took him in for the night. He is very banged up, with lots of facial scars, and plenty of scabs all over his body. He was covered in fleas and ticks from his journey. I don’t believe he’s ever had a leash or collar on in his life. He doesn’t know commands but went right in the crate. He’s going to be one of those success stories that will be awesome for a family to share for the rest of his life. Tanner is precious, raw and very skiddish right now. He is the sweetest little baby for as scared as he is. I gave him his first bath today, the jury is still out if he hated it because I was a stranger or if he hated because he doesn’t like to take baths. If he wasn’t covered in fleas I would have waited to get aquatinted first.
