Don’t think being deaf slows this boy down–he keeps up with his foster’s pack. Carter Kane is a love bug. He thinks he is a lap dog. If you are his person he will follow you EVERYWHERE. Through no fault of his, he has been returned to RDBR twice and needs a FUREVER home ASAP. He plays hard and loud when wound up, but he wags his tail the whole time. He goes into his crate, but hates to be left in it and will bark. We are working on this issue. Carter Kane is house trained and can use a doggy door too. In sign language he knows “eat”, “no”, “come”, his name, “out”, and “move on”. Other signs are being introduced. He interacts well with the pack of 3 dogs at his foster home and people. He is enjoying all the toys in his toy box. He likes to carry a toy and be chased – like a rope toy. He isn’t too sure of treats, though. He takes them and spits them out and smells them before eating them.
