Calvin

Calvin is a super happy boy who has been with us for over a year.  The poor guy keeps getting overlooked because of his exuberance for life.  This can be intimidating for some but we know for the right family he will fit in perfectly.  He loves you so much and has fear that you will abandon him that he over compensates by trying to keep all other dogs away from you.  He needs a family that has a strong parenting style.  If he can bluff his way into being the boss, he will but if you are consistent and firm he listens very well.  He wants to please you and is VERY treat motivated.  He will do anything for a treat.  He knows sit, lay down, and is working on stay.  For fun he loves to swim in his water bowl, the kiddie pool, the pond, mud hole.  Anywhere he can swim he does.  He would make the perfect running partner.  The more he exercises the better he behaves.  Like most of us, we need a release for all that energy.  He is crate and potty trained and very good at snuggling on the couch.  This sweet boy will keep you laughing and steal your heart if you give him half a chance.
