Pretty Boy Floyd

This is Pretty Boy Floyd. He is around 1 and was dumped at lake Texoma with a bowl of food. A nice lady saw him and began filling the bowl everyday and moving the bowl closer to her bench. After 3 weeks she was finally able to pet him and she put him on a leash and brought him home. She put him on area lost and founds, posters and the like, even though she knew he was dumped with no luck. She decide to keep him but her dogs and Floyd didn’t get along so she put him on FB for rehoming. We were contacted by a gentleman who wanted a rescue to save him from being re-homed to a dog fighter. So he arranged pick up and transfer to us!!!

Floyd is very nervous and unsure right now, but who wouldn’t be when dumped and transferred over and over. He seems to be completely potty trained, and he goes right into his crate with a treat thrown inside. He is also leash trained, although he’s hand shy so when I reach to put the leash on him he flinches, but once that scary part is done he walks with purpose right beside me. He hasn’t had an interest in toys or bones yet but he is still very skeptical of everything right now. When my goats and chickens call out he points and shakes, I guess because he can’t see them but can hear them. I know he’s going to be awesome once he lets his guard down.
