Rowdy Ray

Rowdy Ray was found at the lake wandering. The people posted signs and everything but no one stepped up so we believe he was probably dumped. He was in near skeletal condition so the people took him straight to the vet. The vet said he was free of parasites, and was in great shape but for a few cuts and the immediate need for groceries. He has gotten the groceries and a bunch of love over the last several months and looks great. Rowdy was, reluctantly surrendered to us because he and the families older dog kept fighting. They said he’s an amazing boy and the wished things had worked out. They suggested he not be with other males or dominant females. He got along great and even played appropriately with their Pomeranian.

He knows sit, although it’s super hard to do when your butt is wiggling all of the time. He is learning leash skills and to wait at doors. He is potty trained and crate trained. He loves being outside and chasing his ball and we are working on him bringing it back to. The vet estimated his age from 2-3 yo.
