Sooner Schooner

We have had Sooner for just a few hours and seeing a very playful personality coming out. After a careful introduction to the pack, they were all trying to play! This sure makes us wonder about his age until we look at his graying muzzle. He has had a rough time lately because his dad has fallen on hard times and had to surrender him. He is a bit thin and we’re working on that already. Unfortunately he doesn’t like the treats we have, so we’re working to find treats he will eat and trying to get him to eat anything at all. There has been a couple spots, maybe marking spots, have happened in the house, but with his situation that’s understandable and we’re working to correct that.He is such a happy guy and has stayed closer to the guy of the house rather than the lady of the house. And then again that’s when he’s not trying to play with the other fur babies in the house. He is really affectionate and comes up and nuzzles under your hand for attention. I have been able to lean over and snuggle cheek to cheek for a bit. This is a good sign he could be a big snuggle bug when he gets that special forever family.
